Summary: My stay at the Grand Central Hotel in Sofia was a solid, average experience that met my basic needs. The location is quite convenient as it is within easy walking distance of the city center, and the breakfast provided was a highlight of the morning. While the rooms were clean and very affordable, they felt a bit dated and lacked modern touches. Additionally, the rooms were quite small, and the immediate area around the hotel felt slightly shady, which might be a concern for some travelers

Summary: Amazing experience. All staff very friendly, approachable and helpful in every way. Airport transfers arranged efficiently and guidelines for walking around city most helpful. Buffet breakfast was the most impressive I have experienced in my travels to eight other European countries! Well done!!
